I am writing to ask a direct and urgent question: why are you standing by while actions and rhetoric that threaten the stability of this country go unchallenged?
Your role is not to serve any one individual or political figure. It is to represent the people who elected you and to uphold the Constitution. Right now, many of us are watching what appears to be a dangerous erosion of democratic norms, and your silence is not going unnoticed.
Leadership requires courage, especially when it is inconvenient or politically risky. Remaining passive in moments like this does not protect your constituents. It signals complicity. History does not look kindly on those who had the power to speak out and chose not to.
Do you believe that continuing down this path will earn you the trust and support of voters in the future? Because from where many of us stand, it feels like you are prioritizing political loyalty over public responsibility.
I urge you to take a clear and public stance. Speak honestly. Defend democratic principles. Represent the people who put you in office, not the pressures that keep you silent.
