As your constituent, I am writing to tell you why I want Schumer & Jeffries to be regular Senator and Rep--and NOT the leaders of the Senate or House. Neither one of them has what we need-- "go along to get along" is not a strategy. Democrats were just handed a HUGE mandate nationwide. It is also an opportunity to investigate Trump and his cronies. As a friend said, Democrats in Congress need to be ruthless in taking our country back and righting wrongs. These two aren’t the ones to lead the charge. Please get a Senator who has some 'fire in their belly' and conviction, to lead the Senate. Help your friends and colleagues in the House, do the same.
