Stand up for international and humanitarian law
To: Rep. Crow, Sen. Hickenlooper, Sen. Bennet

Please stand up for international and humanitarian law. Israel has committed mass atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza over the last year. This includes countless massacres, forced displacement, field executions, torture camps, total infrastructure destruction, forced starvation, and burning alive Palestinians like 19-year-old Sha'ban al-Dalou. This is a genocide, fueled by tens of thousands of U.S. bombs and at least $18 billion of our tax dollars sent to the Israeli military in violation of U.S. and international law. I’m a constituent and part of the majority of U.S. voters who support withdrawing military funding from Israel. The only way to stop the killing, from Palestine to Lebanon and beyond, is to cut off the endless and unconditional supply of U.S. weapons and military funding fueling Israel’s atrocities. That starts with blocking the $20 billion weapons package to Israel. As a voter, your constituent, and a supporter of the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights Action (USCPR Action), I urgently ask you to: 1.) Cosponsor all six Joint Resolutions of Disapproval now to block the $20 billion weapons package to Israel, and then vote YES on each resolution. 2.) Push for an immediate arms embargo on Israel. 3.) Direct the immediate withdrawal of all U.S. military personnel and resources from Israel, like the U.S. War Reserve Stockpile 4.) Cosponsor and vote YES on H.R. 9649, the UNRWA Funding Emergency Restoration Act of 2024, to restore funding to the UNRWA aid agency for Palestinian refugees. Pressure Israel to allow all humanitarian aid to enter Gaza immediately. Israel’s repeated gross violations using U.S. weapons have been vastly documented and cited as acts of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes—like 120 millimeter tank rounds used in the killing of 6-year-old Hind Rajab, her family, and paramedics on January 29, 2024, GBU-39 Boeing bombs used in the Rafah tent massacre on May 26, 2024, and JDAMs to bomb a mosque and school in central Gaza on October 5, 2024. I urge you to support halting all weapons and military funding to Israel now. Urgent action is needed to protect Palestinian, Lebanese, and other communities in the region, including U.S. citizens, whose lives are at stake.
