I am demanding you immediately move to impeach, convict, and remove President Trump under Article 2 Section 4 for his executive order attacking mail-in voting. This is a blatant attempt to rig the midterms and all future elections. Trump's order directs the federal government to create "citizenship lists" from incomplete data and prohibits the Postal Service from delivering ballots from voters not on these lists. This would disenfranchise eligible voters who depend on mail voting, including people with disabilities, working families, deployed military personnel, and voters without transportation. The order also threatens state and local officials with criminal prosecution and seeks to withhold federal funding from states that don't comply. The President has no authority to make election law. That power belongs to Congress and the states. This is an unconstitutional power grab by someone acting like an authoritarian dictator. Trump is attempting to seize control over our elections and create chaos in election administration to benefit himself politically. This treasonous attack on our democracy demands immediate action. Move to impeach and remove him now before he can do further damage to our constitutional system.
