Green card holder and Columbia University student Mahmoud Khalil has been captured from his university-based apartment, taken to Jena ICE facility, and detained there due to his protest activities. I've previously begged the governor's office to shut down ICE facilities in the state and cease all co-operation with ICE. This is because I knew what was coming. Since 20 January, we have been witnessing the results of complicity with a system that can and will be used against usall. Mahmoud Khalil is not the first. He will not be the last. They are coming for us all.
