I am incensed that Trump and his toadies want to sell off public lands to benefit big oil, timber interests and other big money companies. These lands belong to the American public and must remain preserved for today and future generation. I urge you in the strongest terms to not allow our public lands to be sold to the highest bidder. I am confident that *YOU* will do so, but I further urge you to convince your republican colleagues to stop this unAmerican sell off of our lands for purely commercial benefit.
We must protect ALL the wildlife -- including our wild horses and burros that roam free as determined in the 1971 Wild Horses and Burros Act, as well as with the myriad of other species whose existence is intertwined with the equines. Public lands were set aside to be protected from commercial interests. We need to keep it that way. As someone has said, let's keep public lands in public hands. Our public lands—my lands and your lands—are not for sale.
Thank you.
