Stop The President’s 1B settlement w/IRS The President of the United States is currently negotiating a settlement with the IRS for ONE BILLION DOLLARS for leaking tax returns. There is no law requiring the public release of tax returns. However, the House Ways and Means Committee, Senate Finance Committee, and Joint Committee on Taxation have the legal authority to obtain, inspect, and release the tax returns of any taxpayer, including the president.
