What is happening right now out of the White House is beyond disgusting. Almost every American in this country agrees that the deportation of undocumented people who commit crimes is a priority. Trying to turn it into a reality show and going into schools and churches and hospitals, and arresting and harassing everyone who has brown skin, including American Indians is beyond the pale. And the fact that he wants to know decide on his own what is done with our federal tax dollars is not only illegal. It is reprehensible. Do you know how many people in your state will be affected by this freeze on Medicaid, WIC, free breakfast and lunches for children Headstart, etc? I know Marcy knows and I know she cares but I know for a fact that Bernie and John do not. The main reason people said they voted for Trump was their concern over the price of groceries. His actions with these nasty deportations are leaving our farmers without any workers to pick the crops. You all know what that will do to grocery prices in the not too distant future. Do the people who voted for him know this? Most likely not. No one has the guts to stand up to this dictator to try to preserve the democracy of the United States of America!!!! Just like no one had the guts to stand up against Hitler, even though they were well aware of what was happening. Do something. You were sent there to represent the people, it is beyond time to start representing. You were not there to kiss the ring and toe the line and bow down to the man who thinks he is the second coming! The time to step up and stand against this madness is now.
