Today, an article from Spotlight Delaware Organization reported that ICE agents abducted a parent on the property of Stanton Middle School. This is not ok. Any ICE abductions of law abiding Delawareans (ignoring civil misdemeanors like crossing borders) is unacceptable. But doing it at a school, terrorizing children, is outrageous. The van was unmarked but this is part of the problem. We have evidence that ICE ignores the actual law and treats detainees inhumanly, so we no longer have the luxury of assuming detentions are law abiding and justified. I want you to investigate and hold the culprits accountable. I insist that all law abiding, tax paying, economy supporting, contributing Delawareans be allowed to live in peace. I insist that Delaware’s children can go to school without fear. Do something!
