Why are you persisting in this amoral and unnecessary support of Israel? All the world can see that this has gone far far far beyond self defense. It’s genocide. It’s colonialism. It’s murder. And you persist, with funds and weapons, and support, and meaningless verbal reprimands (which fool no one). You persist. You supply the war weapons which murder so many innocent civilians. Why? Why? I am a 49 year old professional democrat who is well aware that voting third party could result in another Trump term, the loss of my fundamental rights, and frankly the end of democracy. But what does it matter when you are proving right now that Democrats are fascists, too? You send violence upon the student protesters, who simply want this war to end and innocent lives to be saved. You paint them as antisemites, although they are critical of a government, not a religious group. You support the suppression of free speech when it comes to Israel and its violence. So why is my fundamental freedom more important than the lives of innocent Palestinians? It is certainly not. You underestimate the clear eyed idealism of GenX and our children. Your votes will suffer for it.
