Trump’s GOP is a cruel and hateful organization for cutting SNAP benefits. I have seen firsthand the carnage resulting from the cuts. The “fraud” excuse that the GOP uses to justify cuts is largely BS. We have a friend who lost SNAP benefits and her family would be going hungry if we were not spending many hundreds of dollar per month to buy her groceries. Does the following profile sound to you like fraud? The mother is a single parent with four teenage kids, some with disabilities. Her car was repossessed so she can’t reasonably travel to a job or to food banks. She had a part-time job, working from home, but had a serious medical problem that kept her from working for a while and she lost that job. And she is going to college remotely, attending a major Texas public university. There is no fraud in her apartment. You are a vile, despicable, mean and evil person for supporting SNAP benefit cuts. If you had ever personally faced pervasive hunger, maybe you would be supporting SNAP now.
