Reject anti-democratic rhetoric, uphold constitutional checks and balances

Stephen Miller's rhetoric surrounding Trump's supposed "landslide" victory and plans for heavy-handed executive actions represents an alarming disdain for democratic norms and checks and balances. His claims of a sweeping mandate are simply not supported by the facts - Trump won less than half the popular vote and his margin of victory was narrow. Suggesting Trump can act as a virtual dictator on day one, sidestepping the Senate and court system, is a dangerous assault on American institutions. Miller's breathless promises of sealing the border and launching the "largest deportation operation in American history" on the first day reveal an extremist mindset divorced from reality. Such rash actions would face immediate legal challenges and logistical hurdles, contrary to his declarations. His serving as Trump's unrestrained mouthpiece, making grandiose claims disconnected from constitutional limits, renders him unfit to serve in a position of power. I urge you to speak out against this anti-democratic rhetoric and the alarming agenda it seeks to impose against the will of the American people.
