Alligator Auschwitz is not a prison. It is a concentration camp where this Republican administration will purposely send people to die. As someone who lived and worked in Florida for more than a decade, I can say with authority “alligators and pythons” will not be the killers. The killers will be: • Lethal heat and humidity inside those plastic tents • Mosquito-borne diseases • Rat-borne diseases • Water moccasin bites • Contaminated water • Hurricane winds, water and debris This is a death camp. Most of its occupants will die there. This administration knows that and has purposely constructed it in the Everglades. The goal is for those held there to die. Slowly and painfully. That is utterly abhorrent and violates the values of the American people. This is made worse by the people being sent there getting no due process to prove they are not dangerous criminals. This administration is knowingly sending farm workers, day laborers, dishwashers, and landscapers to die torturous deaths because those workers’ skin is brown. We, as a country and a society, should be better than this. We fought a world war to end such atrocities. Now we are committing them. Historically, we are now the bad guys. Do you support the construction and use of such concentration camps? Your silence on this matter suggests you do. 
My wife and I implore you to do everything in your power to close these death camps and demand all abducted individuals be afforded their right to due process.
