I am writing to you as your constituent to express my profound outrage and condemnation of the recent, aggressive enforcement tactics employed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The reports of indiscriminate, large-scale raids, which have resulted in terrorized communities, torn-apart families, and even fatal encounters, are unacceptable and fundamentally un-American. These actions prioritize brutality over humanity and are creating a climate of fear, causing people to fear for their safety in their own neighborhoods. I demand that you: Publicly condemn the recent violent operations conducted by ICE. Demand immediate oversight hearings into the agency’s actions. Ensure accountability for any agents who have violated civil rights. My community deserves to live without fear of a militarized, rogue agency.
