I am writing as a concerned Philadelphian to urge you to take immediate action to resolve the DC33 strike and ensure that these essential city workers are paid what they truly deserve. The men and women of DC33 keep our city running every single day—through their hard work, dedication, and commitment, they provide the vital services that make Philadelphia a safe, clean, and livable city for all.
These workers have shown up for our community through every challenge, including the most difficult times. They deserve fair compensation that reflects the value they bring to our city. Prolonging this strike only hurts our neighborhoods and undermines the essential services we all depend on.
I strongly encourage you to reach a fair agreement and show Philadelphia’s appreciation for these essential workers by paying them what they’re worth. Please act swiftly to end the strike and restore the services our city relies on.
