Save NPR and PBS funding! Cutting this vital service will mean millions of people are without the global news that they rely on to understand the world. We will also lose high quality international shows that aren't streamed anywhere else, educational children's shows, and radio shows that bring light and music into our lives. NPR is where I go to hear both right and keft wing views without lies and name calling. PBS Kids is the only channel I allow my child to watch. PBS is where we go to watch great works adaptations like Jane Eyre, David Copperfield and more. Masterpiece Mysteries is a staple in our house; Poirot and Miss Marple as dear as family members themselves. These media outlets are so much more than just news outlets. They bring culture and education to our house without making us pay the ridiculous streaming fees of other platforms.
