CHP Amber Alerts & Other State Alerts Should Not Direct People to X

I want to urge the State to have emergency alerts link to a secure, privacy-respecting site on the open web rather than a private-sector social media platform. CHP has its own website, for example. X is especially bad, and not just because it nominally requires an account to view posts. Yesterday I was helping my mom connect her Fitbit to her phone, and under Settings -> Accounts I saw it said X, and Truth Social. Honestly, name a more iconic duo. It’s that kind of a platform.
