Say NO to S4924!

To: Assembly Member Reynolds-Jackson, Assembly Member Verrelli, Gov. Murphy, Sen. Turner

From: A constituent in Princeton Junction, NJ

December 5

The state senate’s bill to gut the powers of the comptroller is the wrong move at the wrong moment. There’s plenty of work for SCI to do without taking power away from the comptroller, who’s been prolific, tenacious, and effective—a model government agency. The bill’s clear motivation is to reduce OSC’s effectiveness, not to improve efficiency. Sen. Turner, Asw. Reynolds-Jackson, Asm. Verrelli: Please vote against this bill if it comes before you. Gov. Murphy: If it’s on your desk, please veto it.
