Save the Suicide Crisis Hotline, Stop Trump from shutting it down

I’m writing this in light of the Trump administration shutting down the suicide hotline.
In 30 days, Trump and his administration will close the national suicide hotline by July 17, 2025.
This is absolutely concerning because not only people with mental health problems would be in danger, LGBT people (especially younger LGBT people) across the country are in crisis. They’re hearing messages of hate and rejection — not just from peers or online bullies, but from people and systems meant to protect them. If this goes forward, they will be left with the message: “Your lives are not worth saving.”
The Trevor project estimated since after the election contacts of their lifeline skyrocketed by nearly 700% – the most dramatic surge thier crisis lines ever experienced.
Stop Trump and this administration because if this goes through, they will be heavily responsible for the many suicide attempts.
