41 million people, including 20 million kids, lost food assistance thanks to Republicans in Congress. These Americans receive an average of $7 a day. Meanwhile, you're getting paid to sit at home and do nothing and collect $73 per diem when you are at work in DC. Poor people trying to feed their families aren't a waste of taxpayers' money, Congressional Republicans are.  Use the SNAP contingency fund to fund food assistance during the shutdown.
