We are spending $1 billion a day for a war we didn’t need with Iran in order to make oil affordable. A reminder – wind and solar energy don’t need to be imported through the Strait of Hormuz. Canceling the $1 billion dollar contract with the French company for offshore wind farms while fighting this war for oil is the height of Republican stupidity.    The second message goes to SENATE. HUD’s Homeless Assistance Grants programs play a critical role in efforts to prevent and end homelessness in our state. I am urging you to sign on to Senator Reed’s (Rhode Island) letter supporting the National Alliance to End Homelessness recommended funding request.
