An Open Letter

To: Rep. Moran

From: A constituent in Texarkana, TX

October 24, 2025

We are writing from the Texas Forward Party because we are worried about problems with funding in public schools across Texas. Many schools don’t have enough money, which causes classes to be too crowded, programs to be cut, and teachers and students to not get enough support. When schools don’t have enough money, it’s harder for students to do well in their classes. Many students can’t get tutoring, career programs, or help with mental health. School should help kids learn and grow, not make it harder for them because there isn’t enough funding. We respectfully ask that you: 1. Give more funding to public schools in Texas so every student can have a fair chance at a good education. 2. Support programs that help students learn, prepare for jobs, and get help with mental health. 3. Fix funding differences so every student has what they need to succeed. Texas can be a leader in making schools strong and fair for all kids. The Texas Forward Party asks you to take action now to help students all over Texas have a better future. Sincerely, Texas Forward Party
