You voted to confirm Pam Bondi for Attorney General. Either you had the full understanding that she would be a shill for President Trump and distort the DOJ into his personal weapon OR you are woefully stupid and/or naive and should resign. The fact that she is so cavalier about the Signal security breach and willing to attack anyone who ever slightly crossed Trump’s path — law firms and universities, etc. — and has removed anyone from the DOJ who does not walk in lock-step with the Trump administration does not bode well for the future of our democracy or our country. Perhaps you will find some courage and do something to set this right — restore the DOJ to a department with integrity. I wish I had more hope that you will do anything. I do not. I hold you accountable for this mess.
