Investigate Jared Kushner's foreign-funded investment firm and pursue every legal avenue to recover money that flowed through it to benefit him personally.
The facts are not in dispute. Foreign governments supplied 99 percent of the capital in Kushner's fund, including $2 billion from Saudi Arabia after MBS overruled his own advisers. Kushner had no prior fund management experience. He collected as much as $157 million in fees.
This summer, he was negotiating over Gaza in America's name while personally enriched by the same foreign governments with a stake in the outcome.
That is a corruption problem, not a policy disagreement. Congress must open a full investigation, subpoena the fund's records, and pursue clawback of every dollar that represents a conflict of interest or an illegal benefit.
Americans are paying the price for decisions shaped by foreign money. The people who profited from those arrangements should pay it back and be held accountable.
