The President's threat that "a whole civilization will die tonight" is not hyperbole or "tough" talk. It constitutes a national security threat. Threatening war crimes like genocide is so flagrantly anti-American and anti-Christian that I shocked and dismayed you have not personally renounced these statements. The President shows increasing signs he is not fit for office, and your refusal to conduct oversight of the executive branch's warmongering is a shameful dereliction of your Constitutional obligations. Trump is making Americans less safe, and actively putting our troops in harm's way. This is unacceptable. You must immediately denounce Trump's haul rhetoric and insist this disastrous war be ended.
