Oppose NSPM-7 Prosecution of Political Activists as Domestic Terrorists

Speak out against the Trump administration's use of National Security Presidential Memorandum 7 to prosecute political activists as domestic terrorists. NSPM-7, signed September 25, 2025, directs the FBI and DOJ to investigate and "disrupt" anti-fascist groups — and defines domestic terrorism broadly enough to include trespassing. This isn't counterterrorism. It's the criminalization of dissent.
In Minnesota, 15 activists were indicted for resisting Operation Metro Surge, a federal immigration sweep targeting Somali communities. Eleven face charges solely for conspiracy to impede a federal officer — based largely on Signal messages and protest tactics like blocking roadways with shields. The indictment repeatedly flags their political beliefs, citing anarchist affiliations as evidence of criminal intent. At the Prairieland ICE detention facility, one protester received 30 years for moving a box of zines. These are political prisoners, and the chilling effect on free speech is the point.
The last time the federal government ran a program like this, we called them the Palmer Raids, and history judged them harshly. Your constituents are watching to see whether you'll stand up to this abuse of executive power or stay silent while the administration builds a machinery for punishing its political opponents.
