Congress must defund ICE. If ICE can't be controlled or held accountable to following US law- a catastrophically dangerous omission for an enforcement agency that's licensed to kill- then Congress must control them financially. The so-called "Big Beautiful Bill" Congress passed last year increased ICE's budget to $29B for this year alone- an amount that eclipses all other federal law enforcement funding added together. It has become apparent that ICE is no longer focused on illegal immigration; they are drunk on their own power, and their ranks are filled with blood-thirsty killers who have been shown in countless videos to be deliberately escalating encounters with US citizens in the hope they'll get to murder someone, as Jonathan Ross murdered Renee Nicole Good. Yesterday agents set off a flash-bang in front of a car filled with children, causing their father to crash; all six children are now in the hospital. This can't go on. They are irresponsible and they are deliberately inciting violence. Congress must pull the financial teeth of this gang of thugs who are threatening the safety and constitutional rights of American citizens. Defund ICE now!
