Block Federal Interference in State Election Administration

To: Sen. Van Hollen, Rep. Elfreth, Sen. Alsobrooks

From: A verified voter in Arnold, MD

October 28

Block the Trump administration from interfering with state election administration. The Constitution assigns election procedures to the states, and Marc Elias and Democracy Docket have already been forced to seek a temporary restraining order to stop the federal government from unconstitutionally imposing itself on those processes. That a lawsuit was necessary at all is alarming. Every eligible voter has the right to cast a ballot without federal intimidation or manipulation. When the executive branch tries to override state-run election systems, it doesn't protect integrity. It undermines it. Speak up, push back, and use every tool available to stop this overreach before it does permanent damage to how we choose our leaders.
