Please inform Mike Johnson that ICE is detaining U.S. citizen children

To: Sen. Young, Sen. Banks, Rep. Carson

From: A constituent in Indianapolis, IN

October 17, 2025

You are my representative in Congress. Speaker Mike Johnson recently said he didn’t know anything about U.S. citizen children detained by ICE. Would you please make sure he’s informed. Thank you. According to ProPublica: “Among the citizens detained are nearly 20 children, including two with cancer. That includes four who were held for weeks with their undocumented mother and without access to the family’s attorney until a congresswoman intervened.” Propublica.org/article/immigration-dhs-american-citizens-arrested-detained-against-will
