I urge you to take immediate legislative action to halt this Republican administration’s unauthorized war with Iran and reject any requests for additional war funding. The American people do not want another endless, costly, and devastating war in the Middle East. This administration has presented no defined plan, no exit strategy, and no clear objective for this war. American service members are dying needlessly because of that. Prices are rising because of that. These are the consequences of governing by impulse. It is Congress’ duty to check such impulses. That duty must cross party lines. If you, as a Republican, will not act to stop this war, you are as much responsible for it, for the deaths and injuries to U.S. soldiers, as this Republican administration. My wife and I urge you to demand an end to this illegal war that has already inflicted catastrophic harm. Do your duty as a member of Congress.
