Subject: Open Education System on Tablets in All Jails and Prisons How bout an open education system on tablets in every jail, state prison, and federal prison. Every inmate have access to the same core courses—GED, and cool additional vocational training, basic literacy, and life skills—regardless of facility. Track every inmate’s progress like a report card; Publish a the facility’s“report card” that averages grades and completion rates by facility. Let the numbers show which institutions are actually reducing recidivism through education and which are not. Transparency will drive accountability. Facilities that deliver real results should be recognized and funded for their workers to get raises and vacation time and better benefits etc… Those that don’t should gonna look stupid straightforward way to turn idle time into progress reports. How about that system being funded by our federal government and free to all institutions and individuals. Let’s see which Feds or states counties etc.. can rise to the top and get the most financial benefit gains for the facilities workers.
