Protect American Citizens from Deportation

To: Sen. Cruz, Sen. Cornyn, Rep. Jackson

From: A verified voter in Burkburnett, TX

April 26

The federal government's deportation of a two-year-old U.S. citizen with no meaningful due process is a gross violation of basic constitutional rights. Depriving a citizen of their liberty and banishing them from the country without cause or fair procedures is unconscionable. We must hold the administration accountable for such flagrant disregard of the fundamental protections afforded to all Americans. I implore you to take decisive action through legislation and oversight to safeguard the citizenship rights of every individual, regardless of age or circumstance. No citizen should live in fear of being wrongfully detained or expelled from their own nation. Upholding the rule of law and preventing systematic erosion of civil liberties must be a top priority. Decisive leadership is needed to rein in these unconstitutional policies and ensure all citizens can feel secure in their status.
