Vote No to the “Big Beautiful Bill” - Don’t Vote in the Darkness

To: Sen. Young, Sen. Banks, Rep. Messmer

From: A constituent in Mount Vernon, IN

May 20

As your constituent, I’m deeply concerned about the “Big Beautiful Bill” being rushed through Congress. Any bill that could reshape programs like Medicaid, Medicare, and AI oversight, and host of other issues that will impact most Americans deserves transparency, debate, and public input—not secrecy and late-night votes. I urge you to stand for transparency and oppose any effort to quietly push through legislation that would harm vulnerable Americans, reduce oversight, or shift power away from public interest. Your constituents and Americans are paying attention. We are not stupid, and we deserve to be treated with respect and honesty. If a bill is truly beautiful, it should be shared in daylight and not in darkness. Please publicly oppose this legislation and demand open discussion.
