I am writing to oppose Congress spending billions of dollars on Trump's illegal war with Iran.  This war is reckless and has inflicted devastating harm on civilians across the region, causing deaths, injuries, displacement, and the destruction of homes and critical civilian infrastructure. At the same time, Americans are paying the price for a war they never wanted to begin with. While families struggle with rising costs, Congress is being asked to consider billions more in military spending. I urge you to  hold the line for not another dime for this war or any other wars in the region. A vote for the White House’s $87.6 billion weapons funding request or any additional funding for war is unacceptable.  Will you uphold your constitutional duty and use every lever available to rein in this administration and prevent further escalation? I look forward to your response and to seeing you act with urgency.
