An Open Letter

To: Sen. Curtis, Sen. Lee, Rep. Kennedy

From: A constituent in Holladay, UT

May 13

Allowing white South Africans to seek asylum in the US due to "discrimination" while removing the possibility of asylum from brown refugees fleeing actual war and famine is the most disgustingly overt racism I have seen yet from this administration. If we are going to allow hurt feelings as a viable pathway to asylum for white people, we need to extend that same right to people of all colors. Please reopen our borders to asylum seekers from all wars and famines.
