Rep. Goodman,
As you now know, during a meeting with House Republicans, President Trump was told that his budget bill would include cuts to Medicaid, according to NOTUS. One member reportedly said to the president, "But we're touching Medicaid in this bill,".
When the facts come widely known, and people begin to see the damage to their health care, Social Security benefits and hospital closures begin in rural areas like the 5th Congressional District, you should know unless you have had your head in the sand for the last 9 years, that President Trump will not hesitate a second to throw you and the CFC (formerly the GOP) under the political bus.
You and the CFC will be blamed and he will say he knew nothing about it.
That is the President to which you are tying your political future.
He WILL disavow all knowledge of it as soon as it becomes unpopular. He got what he wanted: more money.
You should not vote your conscience as it seems to not function in a humane manner.
It would be better for you to vote in your sinister self serving political manner as that seems to be honed to perfection and will serve you better in this instance.
Vote NO or live to own it all alone.
