You have met many of the goals I hoped you would achieve, and I would have voted for you again, but I think you probably made the right decision at this point. As a person about the same age as you, I am aware of ageism and I am also aware of the things I don’t do as well as I once did. I am hoping you will use the rest of your term to continue to focus on climate related measures that will give your grandchildren and mine a livable world. Nothing is more important, and nothing will cement your legacy more than slowing down the doomsday clock.
