Vote No on budget bill

To: Sen. McCormick, Sen. Fetterman, Rep. Perry

From: A constituent in Harrisburg, PA

June 3

I am urging you to vote No on the budget bill. It will harm the most vulnerable citizens of this state including the elderly, low income earners, and veterans by reducing funds for valuable services they count on to survive. In addition, adding money to the deficit is morally reprehensible from an administration that claims to be fiscally responsible and wants to make government more efficient. We are wasting money on tax cuts to the wealthy and ridiculous programs like DOGE and a military parade, which are costing the American tax payers at a time when so many are strapped. To cut vital programs in order to fund these endeavors is fiscally irresponsible at best, and bordering on inhumane at worst. Please vote No on any version of the budget bill that slashes funding to medicaid, Medicare, social security, liheap, or other social programs that we've all paid into so we can reap the benefits when we are in need. Vote No to any version of the bill that raises our deficit at the expense of our own citizens and the programs that help them survive.
