I’m contacting you in support of the environment and environmental protections, and in opposition to the Trump regime’s attack on both. Full funding must be restored to climate agencies including the EPA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Department of the Interior, and the Department of Agriculture. The president’s sweeping cuts set back decades of progress and harm our communities. Finally, Lee Zeldin’s efforts to repeal EPA rules that protect our kids and planet from danger are unacceptable. Increasing carbon dioxide worsens climate change, and mercury is linked to developmental issues in children. Zeldin’s agenda violates the agency’s mission statement to protect human health and the environment. Thank you for fighting to protect human and environmental health from the ravages of this administration.
