Protect the roadless rule!
Protect 58 million acres of national forest land from being logged. The us forest service is seeking to repeal a rule that has effectively blocked the logging of almost 1/3 of americas national forests.
This includes the largest temperate rainforest, the Tongass National Forest. This will impact not only wildlife and their habitat, but also our nation’s drinking water.
The lands that are covered by the roadless rule are the wildest lands in our nation. They should remain this way to preserve humanity. The forests sustain communities, supports tourism, provide recreation, mitigates climate change, and nourish the food supply. Removing these is a blow to humanity.
Please protect America’s wilderness and say no to repealing the roadless rule.
