America was founded on principles of justice, equality and opposition to tyranny. Honoring a draft dodger and convicted criminal with a military parade is antithetical to those ideals and sends a disturbing message. Taxpayer funds should not be misused to glorify lawlessness. I urge you to oppose any plans for such an event and instead focus resources on supporting those who truly embody patriotic values through honorable service.
