An Open Letter

To: Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Cruz, Rep. Roy

From: A verified voter in Dripping Springs, TX

October 27

You must call for trans people to be treated with respect and you must condemn those who spew hatred toward them. Your role model is Kansas Democratic Senate candidate Adam Hamilton — a pastor — who, despite running in a deep-red state, said, “Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself.”
