Co-sponsor the Epstein Wall Street Records Act and Release the Files

October 15

Co-sponsor the Epstein Wall Street Records Act, introduced by Senator Warren and Representative Garcia with bipartisan support. Big banks enabled Jeffrey Epstein's crimes for years, and neither the institutions nor the executives who helped him have faced meaningful consequences. Congress has to force the transparency that Wall Street and the Trump administration refuse to provide on their own. This bill would require the Federal Reserve and the SEC to investigate Epstein-connected firms and executives for banking, investment, and illicit funding violations. It would ban wrongdoers from the US financial sector and refer criminal violations to the Justice Department. Barclays just sent a letter through its head of US government relations that Warren rightly called dodging responsibility, proving that voluntary disclosure is a dead end. The Justice Department must also release all records related to Epstein and his associates. The public has waited long enough. Every day those files stay buried is another day the full network of people who financed and enabled his trafficking ring avoids scrutiny. Pass this bill and get those files out.
