Madame Vice President, there needs to be an arms embargo against Israel. What is happening to the Palestinian people is a genocide. You speak of Israel's right to exist, but what of the rights of the Palestinian people to not be bombed into oblivion by weapons provided by the United States of America? What is being done to the Palestinian people would not be viewed as acceptable if it were being done by any country other than Israel. The United States would have already put an arms embargo against that country, and levied sanctions against them. What makes Israel so different that they do not get the same treatment? What Israel is doing needs to stop. The United States has always had the power to stop them, because this is not about Israel's right to exist.This has always been about Israel's desire to grab more land and resources from the Palestinian people. Israel is quite literally going against international law, and the United States is helping them do so. Free Palestine, Madam Vice President.
