Vote to value Palestinian civilian’s lives
To: Sen. Butler, Sen. Padilla
From: A constituent in Oakland, CA
November 21
This proposed foreign military sale to Israel outlined in S.J.Res. 111 should not proceed. The munitions involved, including over 32,000 tank cartridges and other artillery, raise grave concerns given Israel's track record of using disproportionate force and failing to adequately safeguard Palestinian civilian lives. Allowing this sale would likely enable further violence and civilian casualties in the occupied Palestinian territories. We must prioritize human rights and the protection of innocent lives over military sales that risk inflaming this long-standing conflict. I urge you to support this resolution disapproving of the arms deal to Israel. A change in approach centering human rights and accountability is desperately needed.
