I’m writing to ask Governor Newsom to sign AB 55, the Freedom to Bi rth Act, into law. I am a Medi-Cal Doula, and I know the dire need to have this available to people in my community! This bill will make it easier for birth centers to open and stay open, which is especially important for families in rural and underserved communities. Please support birth centers and families by signing AB 55. Thank you!
