An Open Letter

To: Sen. Lee, Sen. Curtis, Rep. Kennedy

From: A constituent in Holladay, UT

February 14

Minnesota is still under siege from the United States government, and Congress needs to act. There problems in Minneapolis began when ICE flooded into the city looking for Somali immigrants because of a crime that was committed several years ago and had already been dealt with. If ICE had not exceeded their warrant by killing Renee Good, then the protests wouldn't have erupted as they have. Congress needs to pull ICE out of there and get them back to a border area where they have actual jurisdiction. Congress is allowing a US city to be overrun and beaten down by armed thugs disguised as immigration officers, and you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Do something! The country is begging for Congress to protect us, and you do nothing but argue over minutiae. Step in and defend this country from its executive branch or get voted out.
