Reject HCR 33

To: Gov. Morrisey, Sen. Rose, Del. Stephens, Sen. Clements

From: A verified voter in McMechen, WV

February 15

I am writing to express my anger that HCR 33 is even being considered as a serious piece of legislation. Our state is currently facing a $400 million deficit, but you are proposing to change the name of Spruce Knob, thereby incurring costs to make new signs, change tourist information and redo who knows how many other items? How will this be paid for? There are more important things for you to worry about - school funding, road repair, utility costs - than renaming the highest point in the state. Please do not pass this resolution.
