The Trump brothers secured equity stakes in Powerus after their father took office, and the company just raised $60 million while positioning itself to access $1.1 billion in Pentagon funding for drone manufacturing. Richard Painter, former chief White House ethics lawyer under President George W. Bush, called this exactly what it appears to be: "These countries are under enormous pressure to buy from the sons of the president so he will do what they want."
