Vote on SB13

To: Rep. DeAyala

From: A verified voter in Houston, TX

May 26, 2025

The other two voters at my address and I strongly oppose SB13 and we want you to vote no.  This bill will establish unqualified persons to oversee the selection and maintenance of school library collections.  Qualified professional librarians select and maintain appropriate level book collections. There is no need for interference and censorship by unqualified individuals on the basis of their personal preferences and biases.  We urge you to vote no.
